The Kerry Minor Hurling Championship is a hurling championship for players under 18 in Co Kerry.
The Seán Lovett Memorial Cup is presented to the winners, it was presented by Kilmoyley hurling club in 1990 for the County Minor hurling championship. Kilmoyley's John Clifford was the first captain to receive this cup from Betty and Eibhlín Lovett. Sean Lovett was a hurler and footballer of tremendous skill and exceptional strength. Seán won numerour medals from a Munster Senior colleges medals in 1947 to a National Football league medal with Kerry in 1959, the final of which was played in the States. Seán also won All-Ireland Junior hurling and football medals with Kerry in 1961 and 1964 respectively. At home, Seán won Senior County championship medals with Kilmoyley in 1948, 1962, 1963 and 1964. Sean died suddenly in 1988 aged 58.
